Google has added many features in the past year in one of the most popular e-mail services Gmail, like sending self-destination email, setting a passcode in reply, etc. With the help of these, you can not only increase productivity in your professional life but also can make mailing great.
Here are some Features of Gmail maybe you know about –
Increase Re-call Time in Mail
If you are drafting mail and the email is sent at the same time or the mail is absent, then if someone accidentally gets off, this feature is useful for you. To bring that mail back to your inbox, click on the Undo Send at any time during the 30 seconds increase in the Undo time. This option can be viewed in Gmail within settings.
Sending self-destructing email
With this Gmail option, you can even set the timer in the email after sending it. It turns on when the receiver opens. After a fixed time, the receiver can not access that mail back again. This option remains present as Lock-icon at the bottom when composing the mail.
Add SMS Passcode in Emails
This feature comes in the Gmail account for extra security. For this, after taping the lock-icon option in the compose email, click on the SMS passcode option which gets on the default no-SMS passcode.
Mute Mail Chain-Conversation
Whenever a user tags you in a single mail and then many more people begin to reply to the mail. Every time a new mail arrives, there is a problem with this type of item. To avoid this, select the mail chain and tap the 3-dot icon in the bar, you can mute mail conversation.
